John Oxian was asked <br />to investigate which ones we might be interested in sending some- <br />one to and to make an informal report at the January meeting. <br />Mrs. Sporleder raised the question of whether the Commission <br />wanted to address itself to the Tippecanoe situation. A lively <br />discussion ensued in which Jeanne Derbeck participated. Ques- <br />tions of selling, leasing, landmark status and standards, cove- <br />nants, possible demolition by subsequent owners, selling price, <br />access to general public, etc., were discussed. No decision was <br />reached, but it was agreed to watch the situation carefully. <br />1278 9,. Announcements and Miscellaneous Matters <br />No announcements. <br />1278 10. The meeting was adjourned at 9:11 p.m. <br />NOTE: The meeting was reconvened after adjournment in order to hire <br />Jeann Denham for the month of January for the fee of $250.00 <br />to co-ordinate and manage the Shambleau Project as well as <br />assist with other office work.
