November 20, 1978
Page 3
Legal
Mr. Allsop will give his report concerning all aspects of
his
review of our ordinance. -
Public Relations and Community Education
Mr. Wasielewski complemented everyone involved in the Plaque
Ceremony for their fine job.
Mrs. Deloris Davisson gave an update report on Project Land-
marks at the Commission's caucus. She was to give a finan-
cial rundown on the Grant Project to the Commission in the near
future, as well as coming back to us with a proposal on the pos-
sibility of her conducting anther session.
Environmental Impact Statement
Ms. Peck sent a follow-up letter to Ten-Ech Environmental
Consultants in Louisville, Kentucky, concerning the Ironwood
Corridor and informing them that the survey results she sent
them for that area were preliminary.
Presidential Report
Mr. Wasielewski asked the Commission members to contemplate
• an idea he had that could be reflected either in a resolution
or in the By-laws. The idea was to replace Commission members,
possibly by going back to the person(s) that appointed him/her,
and saying that this Commission member has not attended our
meetings for a certain period of time and that we would like a
new nominee. Commission members were to report on their opin-
ions of this change at the next Commission meeting. Mr. Was-
ielewski was to talk to the various appointing agencies and
people concerning their opinions or legislation on this idea.
Staff Report
Ms. Peck announced that she had submitted two C.D. Block Grant
proposals for (FY 1979) one requesting money for the publica-
tion of the Preservation Plan, and the second for individual
publications on three potential Historic Preservation District
areas.
Ms. Peck announced that the I,U.S.B Grant Writing Seminar was
excellent and thanked the Commission. She also announced that
a report and all seminar materials would be filed in the Com-
mission office.
Mrs. Price made a motion that an annual report be written.
Mr. Oxian seconded. All voted in favor.
-0
