November 20, 1978 Page 2 Mrs. Price moved that the Commission allocate $1,138.45 from the County budget to cover the costs to be incurred in 1978 and that the Commission set up a meeting to allocate the funds for the Preservation Plan Publication and to make a firm commitment at that time. Mrs. Sporleder seconded. All voted in favor. Mr. Oxian made a motion that Certificates be published and sent to all owners on record of Landmarks established under ordinance and resolutions when funds are available. Mrs. Price seconded. Correspondence A letter was sent to Mr. Crumlish concerning his correcting and add- ing to the Auto Tour map, and asking permission of Crumlish/Sporleder & Associates to reprint the Auto Tour. Map as they owned the copy- right. A contract was drafted up between the Commission and Mrs. Robert Denham for her work for us between October 23, 1978 and December 31, 1978• We received a thank -you letter from Mr. Ken Geoffroy, Chairman of the Board of the National Association for Humanities Education, for contributing our time at their October conference in South Bend. . 1178 6. Committee Reports City Survey No Report Budget and Finance No Report Historic Districts and Standards Mrs. Price announced a meeting between the Commission, South- old Heritage Foundation, Inc., and City Officials on Wednes- day, December 6, 1978, concerning the West Washington National Historic District. Ms. Peck was to again to speak with the people in Edgewater Place concerning an historic district. Historic Landmarks Mr. Oxian announced the success of the Landmark Plaque Cere- mony. Several landmark owners expressed interest in forming a landmark homeowners organization. Mr. Wasielewski suggested that their survey forms be sent to all landmark owners.
