October 23, 1978 Page 2 - A thank -you note came from Mr. James Cook, of Anchor 46 Realty, for information we sent to him concerning the history of 110-112 South Taylor. - A letter was sent to Phil Crone, St. Joseph County Council - Land Use Committee - concerning the slide presentations ac- companying landmark hearings. - The City Survey results for the ironwood Corridor from Jeffer- son to Ewing were sent to Ten Ech Environmental Consultants, Louisville, Kentucky. 1078 6. Committee Reports City Survey No report. Budget and Finance A financial report was given with suggestions of special projects that could be undertaken before the end of the fiscal year. Mrs. Price made a motion that we ask Jeanne Denham to come back to work for the Commission to specifically help Candy prepare • presentations on the Schambleau and Maps of the City's Growth project. Mr. Oxian seconded. All voted in favor. Mr. Oxian made a motion to allocate $453.73 for the purchase of Landmark plaques. Mr. Wasielewski seconded. All voted in favor. Mr. Oxian made a motion that Mr. Wasielewski should write a letter offering the City names of consultants, their credentials, and fees who might be of assistance to do revitalization and de- velopment schemes for the East Race project area. Mrs. Price seconded. All voted in favor. Historic Districts Ms. Peck made a motion that the Commission hire Brian Crumlish to do sketches for the West North Shore Drive Historic District publication and the layout for a fee of $150.00, and that the Commission allocate another $150.00 for the printing of the publication. Mrs. Price seconded. All voted in favor. Mr. Wasielewski requested a meeting with our Historic Districts Committee and The Edgewater Place Historic Committee before the next regular Commission meeting. s
