Jamuary 31, 1977 <br />Page 2 <br />PDuplicating charges for December, 1976 $ 8.80 <br />Postage charges for December, 1976 18.33 <br />Rita-Kopezynski for services rendered <br />for January, 1977 833.33 <br />for February, 1977 833.33 <br />Mr. Rothermel moved to accept the Treasurer's Report and pay the <br />aforementioned bills. Mr. Wasielewski seconded this motion and <br />it passed unanimously. <br />Ms. Davisson then asked.Cormmission approval for payment of $35.00 <br />to Brian Cn mlish for photographic services. Mr. Wasielewski <br />moved that this bill be paid through Community Development funds. <br />The motion was seconded by Mr. Rothermel and it passed unanimously. <br />5. Correspondence <br />Ms. Kopczynski informed the Commission that there was no signi- <br />ficant correspondence. She did report, however, that the archi- <br />tectural firms who had submitted proposals for the City Survey <br />were notified of the results of the designation. A 16tter, also, <br />had.been received from the City of Auburn, asking for information. <br />Mr. Smith then informed the Commission that he had received a <br />00 letter from the South Bend Chamber of Commerce, informing the <br />Commission that they are available to work with the Commission <br />in regards to conventions. This letter was turned over to Mr. <br />Oxian for action. <br />6. Committee Reports <br />City Survey <br />Mr. Ted Wasielewski, chairman of this committee, deferred. <br />his remarks until the arrival of Mr. F. Jay Nimtz. <br />Budget and Finance <br />Ms. Kopezynski informed the Commission that a Claim Voucher <br />for $5,000 from the National Park Service had been received <br />and submitted by Tom Catanzarite to the Auditor. <br />She said a budget request was submitted to Community Devel- <br />opment for $20,000 for the continuation of the City Survey. <br />A discussion ensued and Mr. Oxian reported that the line <br />item for the historic Preservation Planner's salary was <br />earmarked at $8,200. Ms. Kopezynski informed.him that her <br />contractural agreement is for $10,000. It was remarked <br />that this should be taken into consideration for next year's <br />budget. Mr. Oxian said.he would talk to the Commissioners <br />
