South Bend Redevelopment Commission <br />Regular Meeting - March 1, 1996 <br />Mrs. Kolata explained that Grauvogel and <br />Associates has submitted a proposal to <br />provide Abestos Abatement Construction <br />Review during the demolition of several <br />commercial properties we bought in the <br />Sample -Ewing Development Area. The cost <br />for providing these services is $3,150. We <br />have used Grauvogel for this purpose in the <br />past. They make sure the asbestos is <br />properly removed and disposed of and the <br />proper paperwork is filed with the State. <br />The staff recommends accepting the <br />proposal. <br />Upon a motion by Mr. Hojnacki, seconded <br />by Mr. Hunt and unanimously carried, the <br />Commission approved the Proposal from <br />Grauvogel & Associates for professional <br />services in the Sample -Ewing Development <br />Area (Asbestos Abatement Construction <br />Review) <br />7. PROGRESS REPORTS <br />Mr. Wolf noted that BW3 has opened in the <br />forme Gilberts store. It has been a huge success. <br />8. NEXT COMMISSION MEETING <br />The next Regular Meeting of the Redevelopment <br />Commission is scheduled for March 15, 1996 at <br />10:00 a.m. <br />Since April 5 is Good Friday and a City holiday <br />the Commission meeting has been rescheduled for <br />10:00 a.m.on March 29, 1996. <br />COMMISSION APPROVED THE PROPOSAL FROM <br />GRAUVOGEL & ASSOCIATES FOR PROFESSIONAL <br />SERVICES IN THE SAMPLE -EWING DEVELOPMENT <br />AREA (ASBESTOS ABATEMENT CONSTRUCTION <br />REVIEW) <br />BW3 OPENING HAS BEEN A HUGE SUCCESS <br />NEXT COMMISSION MEETING <br />RESCHEDULED COMMISSION MEETING <br />
