April 13, 1976 <br />Page 5 <br />Community Development Funds <br />It was brought to the attention of the Commission that these <br />Bands would.become available in the fall. <br />National Park Service - Historic Preservation Grant <br />Mr. Smith has discussed this previously. <br />8. New Business <br />Mr. John Oxian made a motion that the Commission change the <br />Resolution pertaining to the Union Station to an Ordinance <br />designating it as an historic landmark. Mr. Rothermel <br />seconded.this motion and it passed unanimously. <br />Mrs. Sporleder showed the Commission a brochure which she had <br />received regarding proposals for Community Development Funds. <br />After discussion, it was given to Deloris Davisson for perusal. <br />9. Hearing of Visitors <br />Mrs. Dill and Mr. Smith had a discussion about the clarification <br />of the ordinance designating landmarks. It was pointed out that <br />if a home owner objects to having his house declared a historic <br />landmark, it is very hard to have it so designated. <br />10:.": Announcements and Miscellaneous Matters <br />There were no announcements. <br />11. Adjournment <br />Mr. Rothermel made a motion that the meeting be adjourned.. <br />Mr. Oxian seconded it and it passed unanimously.
