He also announced that he had. <br />spoken before the ISTA conference last week and the teachers <br />were very interested in what was being done by the Commission. <br />He received a request from an English teacher for a list of - <br />historically significant homes in Penn Township. He submit- <br />ted this name to the Consultant for action. <br />10. Hearing of Visitors <br />Mrs. Doyle spoke about the Zoning Ordinance revision. The <br />prime concern of the visitors was in keeping the family <br />dwelling aspect in the neighborhood. They were concerned <br />that the area in question would be declared an historic <br />district and be inundated with curio shops, restaurants, <br />and antique shops. The Commission assured them that it <br />was no longer concerned with "districts", only "landmarks". <br />11. Announcements and Miscellaneous Matters <br />There were no further announcements at this time. <br />12. Adjournment <br />Ms. Davisson made a motion that the meeting be adjourned. <br />Mr. John Oxian seconded the motion and it passed unani- <br />mously.
