March 10, 1975
Page 5
Plaques
Mr. Smith reported that there was no new information available
at this time.
Preservation Week
Mr. Smith discussed the possibility of putting up the
plaques on designated landmarks during this time. Ms.
Price's suggestion regarding a map was also discussed.
Mr. Oxian stated that if a county map could be procured
from the Area Plan Commission he would fill in the in-
formation that Ms. Price requested in her letter.
Resolutions #1 and #2
The resolutions were tabled, to be considered at the
next meeting.
Nomination and Survey Forms
Tabled until the newt meeting.
9. New Business
CETA. Position
Mr. Oxian and Ms. Schlereth reported on the one --
candidate whom they interviewed. It was the gen—
eral opinion that more candidates should be inter-
viewed before a decision be made.
Consultant Selection
Mr. Smith stated that we were not in a position to
discuss this at this time. He stated, however, that
he felt if the Commission did decide to allocate the
$5,000. in the budget to begin a survey, it should be
spent in the county since they are the only ones who
have given the Commission any funding to date.
Resolution #3
Mr. Oxian withdrew his resolution and stated that he
would discuss the matter of public relations procedure
with Ms. Davisson.
10. Hearing of Visitors
Mr. Klein stated that he was happy to be in attendance,
but had nothing he wished to say at this time.
11. The meeting adjourned at 10:25 P.M.
