Hearing of Visitors Ms. Ann Jones, Curator of the new Century Center; intro- duced herself and Dr. Marie Ritter who is the co -ordinator - of Discovery -Hall. She gave the Commission a copy of "Dis- covery Hall - A Visual Presentation," and spoke about the, work now in progress. Dr. Ritter suggested that there be worked out some co-operative arrangements between Discovery Hall and the Historic Preservation Commission. She dis- cussed the goals of Discovery Hall which would incorporate`' a visual history of the industrial and technical aspects of South Bend as well as a center of information and a data bank. 10. Announcements and Miscellaneous Matters Ms. Davisson mentioned that the Art History students at - Notre Dame did term papers on abort twelve outstanding land- marks. She suggested that having copies of these papers might be beneficial to the Commission. Mr. Smith commented that the Commission had no communication with the Bicentennial Committee and.he would like Gwen Stivers invited back in order to generate some co-operation between that committee and the Historic Preservation Commission. 11. Adjournment Mr. F. Jay Nimtz moved that the meeting be adjourned and -- Mr. Oxian seconded it.
