The Consultant then informed the Commission that he would like to.inform the realtors in South Bend of the superior structures. They might advertise them as such when sold and this might encourage persons interested in historic homes to buy and maintain them. Mr. Rinderle then discussed notification of various de- partments when terms of Commission members expire. He - suggested, to avoid controversy in thefuture, that per- haps it committee could draft a form letter. No action was taken in this.regard. 7. Old Business Community.Development Funds Mr. F. Jay Nimtz remarked .that there would be no action on this until theladministration comes in. new Annual Report Mrs. Gilbert reported that Mr. Al Stivers had not come to the office to pick up material that could be used in put- ting together the Annual Report. It was suggested that perhaps she and Walter Rinderle could work on this project. No action was taken in this area. National Park Service - Historic Preservation Grant This has already been discussed. 8. New.Business Mr. Smith mentioned that the Commission has to fill two. - positions for 1976: that of Consultant and Research Assis- taut. Mr. Smith said that he and Dick Johnson interviewed Mrs. Tobi Christianson and have scheduled three more in terviews for Wednesday, Dec. 10. A discussion followed as to the best procedure for interviewing these candidates. Mr. F. Jay Nimtz then made a motion that the executive - officers as well as Joanne Sporleder be authorized to inter- view and select the CETA candidate and the Consultant for the next calendar year. Mr. Oxi.an seconded this motion and it passed unanimously. Ms. Sporleder then distributed copies of "How to Look at Your Town," compiled by the Historic Landmarks Foundation of Indiana. A
