September 9, 1974 <br />Page 4 <br />7. Old Business <br />a. Consultants Proposals <br />A review of consultants proposals was postponed <br />until the financial situation was settled. Mrs. <br />Studer suggested that a letter be sent to Johnson <br />& Johnson requesting an extension of their October <br />2nd deadline for accepting their proposal. <br />Mr. Nimtz and Mrs. Davisson were delegated to con- <br />tact the mayor's office (Mr. Hojnacki) with authority <br />to request the city to make up the difference in the <br />requested budget from the County, through federal <br />revenue sharing funds. Mr. Oxian so moved. Mrs. <br />Sporleder seconded the motion. It was passed unan- <br />imously. <br />b. By -Laws <br />Article 3, Section 3, b: "President" was amended <br />to read "Chairman." <br />Mr. Nimtz moved that the By -Laws be adopted as <br />amended. Mrs. Sporleder seconded the motion and it <br />was passed unanimously. <br />c. Secretarial and Research Assistant <br />Mr. Smith announced that a contract has been signed <br />with Wendy Clauson Schlereth, September 9, 1974 - <br />December 31, 1974. <br />The Position Description was then discussed. Position <br />Responsibilities A. 2 was amended to read, "and a <br />designates signature where appropriate." <br />B. Research Assistance #3. was amended, "as requested <br />by the Commission." <br />Mr. Oxian reported that the County Commissioners have <br />office furniture available for the Commission's use. <br />d. Cataloging Proposal <br />A letter will be sent to Miss Marie Lawrence. <br />e. Letterhead Design <br />Mrs. Davisson presented alternative mock-ups, and <br />with Commission approval stated she would order the <br />stationary. Approval was given. <br />f. Library <br />Mr. Smith donated Sojourn Savannah to the library. <br />
