Commission approval requested for <br />Proposal from Shilts Graves & Associates, <br />Inc., for soil borings on Parcels C9 -1 and <br />C9 -2 in the South Bend Central <br />Development Area.. <br />Mrs. Kolata noted that Western Avenue <br />Partnership's original proposal requested that <br />the Commission do some soil borings to <br />determine whether there are any old <br />foundations, etc. Shilts Graves & Associates <br />has proposed doing the borings for a cost of <br />$990. The staff recommends accepting the <br />proposal. <br />Upon a motion by Mr. Donoho, seconded by <br />Mr. Hunt and unanimously carried, the <br />Commission accepted the proposal from Shilts <br />Graves & Associates, Inc., for soil borings on <br />Parcels C9 -1 and C9 -2 in the South Bend <br />Central Development Area. <br />j. Commission approval requested for <br />Resolution No. 1380 approving an <br />application for Real Property 1'ax <br />Deduction for property located at 401 S. <br />Michigan Street in the South Bend Central <br />Development Area. (Western Avenue <br />Partners) <br />Mr. Beitzinger read the staff report on the <br />project. Western Avenue Partners, LLC is <br />being created solely for the purpose of <br />constructing and managing a new two story <br />33,000 square foot office building at the <br />southwest corner of Michigan Street and <br />Western Avenue.
