Commission approval requested for <br />Proposal for surveying services in the <br />South Bend Central Development Area. <br />(Parcel C9 -1 and C9 -2) <br />Mrs. Kolata explained that the staff <br />received two proposals for surveying the <br />property the Commission agreed to sell to <br />Western Avenue Partnership. Lang Feeney <br />proposed to perform the survey for a fee of <br />$2,600. Peirce & Associates' proposal is a <br />fee of $1,850. The staff recommends <br />accepting the lower proposal from Peirce <br />& Associates. <br />Upon a motion by Mr. Hojnacki, seconded <br />by Ms. Auburn and unanimously carried, <br />the Commission accepted the proposal <br />from Peirce & Associates for surveying <br />services in the South Bend Central <br />Development Area. (Parcels C9 -1 and C9- <br />2) <br />ab. Commission authorization requested to <br />sign tax abatement petition on behalf of <br />Western Avenue Partnership. (Parcel <br />C9 -1 and C9 -2) <br />Mrs. Kolata noted that the staff has not yet <br />closed on the sale of land to Western <br />Avenue Partnership and they wish to have <br />a petition for tax abatement filed.
