Exhibit L 1 documentation, mailing, delivery, and handling of documents or other similar expenses incurred by the Architect in the interest of the Project. VILWORK SCOPE QUAILIFICATIONS: Architectural and Engineering consultation services requested by the Owner beyond the scope of this Contract will be billed at the Architect's hourly rates as stated above (or Consultant's hourly rates). The following are additional services that may be required or requested by the Owner that are not included in the Basic Scope of Services (Design Phase 1) Preliminary Design: a. Changes to the scope of the program as requested by the Owner after the preliminary design has begun or completed as outlined under Article I.0 above, requiring additional time on behalf of the Architect. b. Site design is not required and not included. c. Site Survey is not included and not required. d. Civil engineering and site design can be provided as an additional service. e. Study of an addition to the building will incur additional fees. f. The preparation of 3-D computer model images of the project (interior and exterior). These can be developed at an hourly rate. g. Variances, easements and/or rezoning are not included, but can be provided if requested by the Owner. h. Detailed Architectural Design Development and Construction Document consultation (Phase 11) is not included in the Phase I Preliminary Design Consultation but will be provided once the exact scope of this next phase has been identified, as requested by the Owner. i. Civil engineering is not included in the Phase I Preliminary Design but would be part of the Phase 11 Consultation along with Structural, Mechanical and Electrical engineering. j. Bidding and/or Construction Administrative Phase services are not included in the Phase I Preliminary Design Consultation but can be provided as part of the Phase 11 Consultation. k. Identification or evaluation of environmental conditions or hazardous materials is not included. VIII. OWNER RESPONSIBILITIES: A. The Owner shall provide full information regarding requirements for the project. B. The Owner shall establish and update an overall construction budget for the project including reasonable contingencies. IX. PAYMENTS: A. Payments are due and payable 30 days from the date of the Architect's invoice. Amounts unpaid 30 days after invoice date shall bear interest at a rate of 1.5 %/mo.
