Agreement for Architectural Design and Planning Services <br />Remodeling to the South Bend Wastewater Treatment Plant <br />Select Buildings <br />3113 Riverside Drive <br />South Bend, IN 46628 <br />This agreement defines the scope of preliminary architectural design and planning services, <br />Between the Owner: City of South Bend (hereinafter referred to as Owner) <br />and the Architect: Kil Architecture/Planning (hereinafter referred to as Architect) <br />for the following project: South Bend Wastewater Treatment Plant <br />(hereinafter referred to as Project) <br />The following proposal is submitted in response to your request for Architectural Services. This <br />proposal is for limited scope remodeling of the South Bend Waste Water Treatment Plant’s four <br />Gallery Buildings (1, 2 , 3 and 4). Scope includes Architectural design, based upon the program <br />approved by the Owner. <br />Pending Schematic Design Approval, Architect would enter into Design Phase II Agreement, <br />which would be to provide Contract Documents for bidding and permitting for the work required <br />to bid and construct the proposed interior and exterior remodeling improvements. <br />I.BASIC SCOPE OF SERVICES (DESIGN PHASE I): <br />A.DOCUMENTATION PHASE: <br />Owner has some existing floor plan documentation that will serve as a basis for developing <br />existing conditions plans for four Gallery Buildings (1, 2, 3 and 4). The Architect will visit site <br />and take photos. Architect to provide field verification of plan documentation to develop <br />existing conditions AutoCAD floor plans. Architect to develop CAD plans and elevations <br />from drawings provided by Owner and field measurements. The Architect will photograph <br />the building in the areas to be modified and remodeled. <br />B.PROGRAM SCOPE: <br />1.Owner has concerns about water damage infiltrating the existing masonry <br />envelope for the four Gallery Buildings (1, 2, 3 and 4).
