SUBSTANCE ABUSE POLICY DOCUMENT No.: EHS-000146 REV #: 1 <br />Date of Issue: 8/23/2016 Next Rev.: <br />EH&S Procedures Issued By: Corporate Safety Director 6/15/2021 <br />Date of Approval: 6/15/2017 <br />Standard Owner: EH&S Department Annroved Bv: Safety <br />6.10.1. The Company hereby places all of its employees on notice that: <br />6.10.1.1. They and their possessions are subject to search whenever they are <br />on a Company job site. Premises include parking lots; vehicles and <br />all other areas where employees perform work, whether or not said <br />areas are owned or leased by the Company. <br />6.11. Violations: <br />6.11.1. If an individual possesses or conceals drug(s) or alcohol on a Company job <br />site, the individual will be removed from the premises and precluded from <br />performing any subsequent work. Law enforcement officials will be contacted in <br />the event illegal drugs is discovered. <br />6.12. Record -Keeping Requirements: <br />6.12.1. The Company shall comply with the following specifications in regards to <br />record keeping: <br />6.12.1.1. Retain records that show an employee had a positive drug test, as <br />confirmed by the Company Medical Review Officer (MRO), and any <br />records that demonstrate rehabilitation, for at least five (5) years. The <br />record shall include: <br />6.12.1.1.1. the reason the test was conducted (e.g., pre -employment, <br />for cause, etc) <br />6.12.1.1.2. the functions performed by the employee who failed the <br />drug test; <br />6.12.1.1.3. the prohibited drug(s) used by the employee; and <br />6.12.1.1.4. the related administrative actions (e.g., termination, <br />suspension, rehabilitation, etc) <br />6.12.1.2. Records of drug tests that show a contractor employee passed a drug <br />test will also be retained by the third -party agent for the Company for <br />at least two (2) years. <br />7. Training <br />7.1. Branch Management shall review this program with all employees prior to initial <br />assignment of work privileges. Additional reviews of this program shall be reviewed <br />when: <br />7.1.1. There are changes made to this program. <br />7.1.2. Branch Management believes there are inadequacies in the employee's <br />understanding of this program. <br />Page 11 of 22 <br />
