South Bend Redevelopment Commission <br />Regular Meeting - August 18, 1995 <br />6. NEW BUSINESS (Cont.) <br />k. Commission approval requested for <br />proposal from Pitcock Design Group for <br />professional services related to the <br />Blackthorn Corporate Park. <br />Mrs. Kolata explained that Pitcock Design <br />Group has submitted a proposal to perform <br />various types of marketing activities for the <br />Corporate Park, including preparing a full <br />page trade advertisement. The first use of <br />this add will be in the Notre Dame football <br />program. The total cost of the contract is <br />%No. <br />Upon a motion by Mr. Donoho, seconded by <br />Mr. Hunt and unanimously carried, the <br />Commission accepted the proposal from <br />Pitcock Design Group for professional <br />services related to the Blackthorn Corporate <br />Park. <br />1. Commission approval requested for <br />Affidavit related to Mechanic's Lien for <br />Monroe Park Apartments project. <br />Ms. Manier explained that the Commission <br />has leased this project to Monroe Park <br />Associates who have constructed apartments <br />on the land. One of the contractors filed a <br />notice of intent to record a mechanic's lien. <br />The execution of this affidavit is one step <br />necessary to secure the release of that. The <br />affidavit says that upon receipt of the notice <br />of intent, the Commission and Authority <br />caused the issuance of a notice to the <br />contractor requiring to file suit within 30 <br />days or release his lien. No lawsuit was <br />filed in the 30 -day period. <br />In <br />COMMISSION ACCEPTED THE PROPOSAL <br />FROM PITCOCK DESIGN GROUP FOR <br />PROFESSIONAL SERVICES RELATED TO THE <br />BLACKTHORN CORPORATE PARK <br />
