NEW BUSINESS <br />n. continued... <br />provide a new roof and provide a sidewalk <br />along the north facade. <br />The proposal also includes CCA <br />requirements to be included in all retail sub- <br />leases, additional design requirements in the <br />total building project, a letter from Mr. <br />Robert Stout of Rosie O'Gradies in San <br />Diego, and a picture of the existing <br />building. <br />Mr. Wolf stated that the concept in Florida <br />is not particularly new. It is new to our <br />climate, in that it finds innovative ways to <br />make outside seating in a downtown <br />environment. Baker & Daniels made the <br />contact between the restaurant owner in <br />Sandiego and CCA. A deal between CCA <br />and the restaurant has not been finalized, but <br />there is a basic agreement on the conceptual <br />side. <br />Mr. Wolf also commented that CCA has not <br />discussed the rooftop seating scenario with <br />Osco, but CCA has always had a good <br />working relationship with them and their <br />corporate people, and would certainly want <br />to work with them to make this project <br />successful. It could bring in some customer <br />traffic for them as well. <br />Mrs. Kolata asked if the roof of the Osco <br />building would support the outside seating <br />area. She said that all those kinds of issues, <br />if the Commission were to accept the <br />proposal, would have to be worked out. She <br />-20- <br />
