With abatement, <br />the taxes will be approximately $51,233. <br />Therefore, the cost of the abatement will be <br />approximately $237,695 over the five year <br />period. <br />Mr. Szarwark noted that Mossberg printing <br />is a long -time citizen of the South Bend <br />area. It provides 100 well- paying jobs and <br />performs a considerable amount of <br />community service printing for non -profit <br />agencies. They need this new equipment to <br />stay competitive in their segment of the <br />printing industry, which is a high -end, <br />sophisticated segment of that industry. <br />Mrs. Kolata noted that Mossberg Printing <br />did a major expansion a couple of years ago <br />which has helped to anchor the southern end <br />of the South Bend Central Development <br />Area and is just across the street from where <br />the Commission is active in the Sample - <br />Ewing Development Area. <br />Upon a motion by Mr. Donoho, seconded <br />by Ms. Auburn and unanimously carried, <br />the Commission approved Resolution No. <br />1329 approving an application for personal <br />property tax deduction for property located <br />at 301 E. Sample Street in the South Bend <br />Central Development Area ( Mossberg & <br />Company, Inc.)
