NEW BUSINESS (Cont.) <br />b. continued... <br />Upon a motion by Mr. Donoho, seconded <br />by Mr. Hunt and unanimously carried, the <br />Commission approved Resolution No. 1328 <br />approving an application for personal <br />property tax deduction for property located <br />at 3820 William Richardson Drive in the <br />Airport Economic Development Area (FDC <br />Graphic Films) <br />C. Commission approval requested for <br />Resolution No. 1329 approving an <br />application for personal property tax <br />deduction for property located at 301 E. <br />Sample Street in the South Bend Central <br />Development Area ( Mossberg & <br />Company, Inc.) <br />Mr. Beitzinger read the staff report on the <br />project. Mossberg & Company, Inc. is <br />engaged in the lithography and printing <br />industry. It prints and lithographs high <br />quality, close tolerance, color brochures and <br />inserts for the medical products industry, <br />annual and quarterly statements for publicly <br />held companies, and a variety of printed <br />material, particularly for companies with <br />needs for high quality, close tolerance <br />printing. Their project calls for the purchase <br />and installation of digital press equipment. <br />This will allow the company to print four - <br />color digitally printed items for short run <br />orders. Additionally, the company will <br />acquire digital plate- making equipment and a <br />digital offset press.
