Although Resolution <br />No. 1323 does not include anything about <br />a replacement park, the Commission is <br />committed to provide an equal amount of <br />land for a park on the east side of Fellows <br />and to provide funding for replacing the <br />facilities also. Mrs. Kolata noted that we <br />will be installing some temporary <br />basketball courts and temporary parking on <br />the land committed to IVY Tech until the <br />new park is built. <br />Upon a motion by Mr. Donoho, seconded <br />by Mr. Hunt and unanimously carried, the <br />Commission approved Resolution <br />No. 1323 accepting the transfer of real <br />property from the City of South Bend. <br />f. Commission approval requested for <br />Proposals for Professional Services in <br />the Sample -Ewing Development Area. <br />Mrs. Kolata noted that McCloskey -Pitts <br />and Ralph Lauver have submitted <br />proposals to provide disposition appraisals <br />for the area to be used for the Family & <br />Children's Center. The Commission <br />doesn't own or control all of this land yet, <br />but would like to take this step to be ready <br />to put the land up for bid as soon as the <br />land is acquired. Ralph Lauver proposes <br />to provide the appraisal for $950. <br />McCloskey -Pitts proposes to provide the <br />appraisal for $1300.
