OLD BUSINESS (Cont.) <br />a. continued... <br />Upon a motion by Mr. Faccenda, seconded <br />by Mr. Sharp and unanimously carried, the <br />Commission approved the Proposal from <br />Mayer Goloubow for Professional Services <br />in the West Washington - Chapin <br />Development Area at a cost not to exceed <br />$825. <br />6. NEW BUSINESS <br />Mrs. Kolata asked permission to consider item <br />6.p. at this time. There was no objection and <br />item 6.p. was moved to the top of New Business. <br />p. Staff report on disposition of property in <br />the Sample -Ewing Development Area. <br />(Parcel 19) <br />Mrs. Kolata noted that there were two <br />proposals for the purchase of Parcel 19 <br />which is located on the east side of Main <br />Street between Garst and Stull in the <br />Sample -Ewing Development Area. <br />The Firefighters Federal Credit Union <br />propose to: 1) purchase the former <br />Policemen's Federal Credit Union building <br />for $100; 2) purchase Parcel 19 for $38,000 <br />(original offer, $20,000); 3) move the <br />former Policemen's Federal Credit Union to <br />Parcel 19 for use as their main office. <br />The purchase price of $38,000 is <br />conditioned on the following: 1) <br />Redeveloment moving the NIPSCO high <br />pressure gas line to the north end of the <br />-4- <br />COMMISSION APPROVED THE PROPOSAL <br />FROM MAYER GOLOUBOW FOR <br />PROFESSIONAL SERVICES IN THE WEST <br />WASHINGTON - CHAPIN DEVELOPMENT <br />AREA AT A COST NOT TO EXCEED $825 <br />
