OLD BUSINESS <br />There was no Old Business. <br />6. NEW BUSINESS <br />THERE WERE NO COMMUNICATIONS <br />THERE WAS NO OLD BUSINESS <br />a. Commission approval requested for <br />Resolution No. 1301 commending <br />Roman J. Piasecki for meritorious <br />service to the South Bend <br />Redevelopment Commission and <br />designating Roman J. Piasecki <br />Redevelopment Commissioner <br />Emeritus. <br />Ms. Auburn noted that this is Roman <br />Piasecki's last official meeting as a <br />Redevelopment Commissioner. He is <br />retiring from the Commission at the end <br />of 1994. Resolution No. 1301 <br />recognizes the many years of service Mr. <br />Piasec1d has given to the Commission <br />and to the community. <br />Mrs. Kolata read Resolution No. 1301. <br />WHEREAS, many people express <br />concern about urban problems and their <br />impact upon the community; and <br />WHEREAS, some people demonstrate <br />their concern by personal involvement in <br />the process of seeking solutions; and <br />WHEREAS, a very few people are both <br />willing and able to bring a degree of <br />-4- <br />
