Ms. <br />Manier responded that the Redevelopment <br />Authority owns the golf course. The <br />Commission is lease- purchasing it. The <br />Airport Authority donated a large portion of <br />the land. As a part of that donation, the <br />Joint Committee was formed to give the <br />Airport Authority a voice in the policies that <br />govern the operation of the course. The <br />Airport Authority will be receiving financial <br />reports on the golf course and will receive a <br />share of the net proceeds after all fees are <br />paid. <br />Upon a motion by Mr. Faccenda, seconded <br />by Mr. Donoho and unanimously carried, <br />the Commission approved the Golf Course <br />Operations and Management Agreement for <br />Blackthorn Golf Course. <br />o. Commission approval requested for <br />Operations Policies for Blackthorn Golf <br />Course. <br />Ms. Manier explained that the Operations <br />Policies is an outline of the day -to -day <br />operations of the golf course, the fees to be <br />charged, etc. Both corporations and <br />individuals may become members of the golf <br />course.
