South Bend Redevelopment Commission <br />Regular Meeting - May 6, 1994 <br />3. APPROVAL OF CLAIMS Cont.) <br />Upon a motion by Mr. Sharp, seconded by Mr. <br />Piasecki and unanimously carried, the <br />Commission approved the Claims submitted May <br />6, 1994. <br />4. COMMUNICATIONS <br />There were no Communications. <br />5. OLD BUSINESS <br />There was no Old Business. <br />6. NEW BUSINESS <br />a. Public Hearing on Resolution No. 1243 <br />amending the Development Plan for the <br />West Washington-Chapin Development <br />Area. <br />Mrs. Kolata asked that the following items <br />be entered into the record: 1) the original of <br />the Notice of Public Hearing setting 10:00 <br />a.m. , May 6, 1994 as the time of Public <br />Hearing on Resolution No. 1243; 2) an <br />affidavit from Carol Smith, Advertising <br />Manager of the South Bend Tribune, that the <br />Notice of Hearing was published on April <br />22, 1994; 3) an affidavit of Lisa Andrysiak, <br />Classified Manager of the Tri- County News, <br />that the Notice of Public Hearing was <br />published on April 22, 1994; 4) copies of <br />the letters sent to the affected property <br />owners regarding the Public Hearing; 5) <br />copies of letters sent to affected <br />neighborhood organizations regarding the <br />Public Hearing; 6) a copy of Resolution No. <br />1243, the subject of the Public Hearing; and <br />-4- <br />UPON A MOTION BY MR. SHARP, <br />SECONDED BY MR. PIASECKI AND <br />UNANIMOUSLY CARRIED, THE <br />COMMISSION APPROVED THE CLAIMS <br />SUBMITTED MAY 6, 1994 <br />THERE WERE NO COMMUNICATIONS <br />THERE WAS NO OLD BUSINESS <br />
