NEW BUSINESS (Cont.) <br />e. continued... <br />Dearborn Crane has been in business for <br />forty -seven years, but has recently decided to <br />specialize in the cranes and shed other, <br />smaller product lines. Since doing so, they <br />have grown 50 %. <br />Although the building to be constructed won't <br />be opulent, it is intended to be a showplace <br />for the company, using the trees on the site <br />as much as possible for screening and <br />landscaping. They plan to begin construction <br />immediately and complete construction by <br />winter 1994. <br />Mrs. Kolata asked how large the building <br />will be and where on the site plan the offices <br />would be. Mr. Dunville responded that the <br />building is just over 30,100 sft. The office <br />will be 4,200 sft at the back of the building. <br />Upon a motion by Mr. Donoho, seconded by <br />Mr. Sharp and unanimously carried, the <br />Commission accepted the proposal from BHD <br />Properties to lease - purchase Lot 11 in the <br />Toll Road Industrial Park to BHD Properties <br />for $40,000 to be paid over 20 years at <br />$301.77 /month. An interest rate of 6.65 % <br />will be charged for a total cost of $72,425.89 <br />over the 20 years. <br />f.
