NEW BUSINESS (Cont.) <br />f. continued... <br />Mr. Riggs explained that Resolution <br />No. 1238 addresses several things that need <br />to be done regarding the Development Plan <br />for the Airport Economic Development Area: <br />1) expands the development area and <br />corresponding allocation area to include the <br />recently annexed 140 acres north of <br />Cleveland Road between Mayflower Road <br />and the Toll Road Industrial Park; <br />2) removes Parcel J from the acquisition list <br />of the Development Plan; 3) adds parcels <br />owned by the Airport Authority to the <br />acquisition list, as well as land the Airport <br />Authority conveyed to the Commission <br />previously, but was not ever on the <br />acquisition list. Parcel J which is being <br />removed from the acquisition list is a parcel <br />we no longer intend to acquire, but which <br />may be purchased and developed privately. <br />Mrs. Kolata explained that it has always been <br />our intention that the planning area for <br />Airport 2010 extend beyond the city limits. <br />As we annex land into the city limits, we <br />intend to bring the newly annexed land into <br />the Development Area. <br />Upon a motion by Mr. Sharp, seconded by <br />Mr. Piasecki and unanimously carried, the <br />Commission accepted Resolution No. 1238 <br />for filing and set 10:00 a.m., April 15, 1994 <br />for a public hearing on Resolution No. 1238. <br />L- -10- <br />COMMISSION ACCEPTED RESOLUTION <br />NO. 1238 FOR FILING AND SET 10:00 A.M., <br />APRIL 15, 1994 FOR A PUBLIC HEARING ON <br />RESOLUTION NO. 1238 <br />
