This property is
located at the northwest corner of Broadway
and Main streets. Old Fort Building Supply
included this property as part of its counter
offer on the Commission's purchase offer for
Old Fort's present storage location. In order
to dispose of Parcels 9 -32 and 9 -33 to Old
Fort, it had to be offered through the public
bidding process to determine that there was
no other interest in the property.
d. The
proposed project includes the construction of
an addition to the existing building adding in
excess of 20,000 square feet. The use of the
addition will be for the expanded needs of the
petitioner and is essential to accommodate the
continued growth of the business. The total
project cost is estimated at $607,000. The
rehabilitation project will create fifteen new
permanent jobs within the first year,
representing a new annual payroll of
$200,000 and will maintain thirty -seven
existing permanent full time and no part time
jobs with an annual payroll of $1,400,000.
,.0.
-5-
NO BIDS WERE RECEIVED FOR PARCELS 9-
32 AND 9 -33 IN THE STUDEBAKER
CORRIDOR PORTION OF THE SAMPLE -
EWING DEVELOPMENT AREA
