NEW BUSINESS (Cont.) <br />c. continued... <br />nearly 25 % vacant land is significant and a <br />clear evidence of blight. <br />Mrs. Kolata also presented for the record <br />copies of the Relocation Policy and the <br />Policy of Management of Acquired Property <br />which were approved by the Commission in <br />May 1991, incorporated into the Sample - <br />Ewing Development Plan by the resolutions <br />which declare the area a redevelopment area. <br />The Relocation Policy spells out how <br />relocation assistance is to be paid (following <br />the Uniform Relocation Assistance and Real <br />Property Acquisition Policy Act of 1970). <br />The Policy of Management of Acquired <br />Property spells out how the Commission will <br />handle property that it acquires when tenants <br />continue to live in the property for a period <br />of time. <br />Ms. Auburn accepted the items and <br />documentation presented by Mrs. Kolata <br />evidencing the existence of blight in the <br />Sample -Ewing Development Area into the <br />record. <br />Mrs. Kolata explained that by approving <br />Resolution No. 1222 the Commission <br />resolves the following: <br />1. That after considering the evidence <br />presented at its hearing February 4, 1994, the <br />Commission confirms the blight found and <br />declared by it in its Resolution No. 1207, <br />within the Sample -Ewing Development Area, <br />and adopts and confirms the Findings of Fact <br />E -15- <br />
