Commission approval requested for <br />Resolution No. 1219 relating to <br />acquisition of real property in the South <br />Bend Central Development Area. <br />Mrs. Kolata explained that Resolution <br />No. 1219 authorizes the sending of a <br />purchase offer to Design Packaging Inc. <br />in the amount of $275,000. This <br />resolution differs from the usual <br />acquisition resolution in that the payment <br />of purchase price is to be made over a <br />period of three years and is subject to <br />annual appropriation by the Commission. <br />The offer is made subject to satisfactory <br />results of a Phase I environmental audit <br />of the real estate, performed and paid for <br />by the Commission. This purchase offer <br />does not authorize condemnation. <br />Upon a motion by Mr. Donoho, <br />seconded by Mr. Sharp and unanimously <br />carried, the Commission approved <br />Resolution No. 1219 relating to <br />acquisition of property in the South Bend <br />Central Development Area. <br />j.
