Andrysiak, Classified <br />Manager of the Tri- County News, that the <br />Notice of Hearing was published in that <br />weekly newspaper on September 17, 1993; <br />4) A memo from Gabriel Okafor stating that <br />on September 20, 1993 he sent a copy of the <br />Notice of Hearing to the affected property <br />owners and registered neighborhood <br />associations and neighborhood leaders; 5) A <br />copy of Resolution No. 1193 which is the <br />subject of the public hearing; 6) As of 10:00 <br />a.m. on October 1, 1993, 1 written <br />remonstrances was received. <br />Ms. Auburn asked if there was any objection <br />to these items being entered in the official <br />record. There was no objection and the <br />items were so entered. <br />Mrs. Kolata explained that Resolution No. <br />1193 amends the Sample -Ewing <br />Development Area Development Plan by <br />adding properties to the acquisition list. The <br />properties to be added are in an area roughly <br />bounded by Michigan Street, Fellows Street, <br />the alley between Broadway and <br />Pennsylvania streets, and Ohio Street, jutting <br />up to Sample Street at a few places. The <br />Commission intends to acquire the properties <br />in this area. There will be a later resolution <br />setting the prices for the properties and <br />authorizing the Commission to send <br />purchase offers. Resolution No. 1193 does <br />not set the purchase price nor authorize the <br />sending of purchase offers. <br />-5- <br />
