NEW BUSINESS (Cont.) <br />a. continued... <br />in the audience have questions that they will <br />need to follow up and meet with Ann or <br />Hedy or Gabriel on an individual basis, to <br />begin to get some of their individual <br />questions and their particular situation <br />worked out on an individual basis. The <br />appraisers that we use are independent <br />appraisers. It is their independent <br />knowledge and their independent expertise <br />that we rely on as a Commission. <br />Also, as Commission members, Mike, <br />Roman, and myself, and Mr. Faccenda, and <br />Ted Sharp that are not here, on many <br />occasions get phone calls from the public, <br />many of them, sometimes, very angry and <br />complaining phone calls. But I can tell you <br />in all honesty: I've never received a phone <br />call complaining about Hedy or Gabriel or <br />the relocation process. I've received lots of <br />complaints about the decisions that we've <br />made, disagreements about the direction that <br />we're taking as a Commission, but I've <br />never had an individual who is being <br />relocated and in that very tough, tough <br />emotional situation, call and complain about <br />how they were treated. Ms. Blacketor, you <br />had another comment that you wanted to <br />make. <br />Nis. BLACKETOR: I have three questions: 1) <br />the other meetings that you are referring to <br />are an after thought, correct? And let me <br />just finish my questions. They all kind of <br />tie in together. The other meetings are after <br />this public hearing has determined that we <br />will move forward. It's my understanding <br />-33- <br />
