NEW BUSINESS (Cont.) <br />a. continued... <br />Airport Economic Development Area <br />Development Plan. <br />Mrs. Kolata asked that the following <br />documents be entered into the public <br />record: 1) copies of the legal notices <br />which were published in the Tri- County <br />News and the South Bend Tribune on May 8, <br />1992, setting this date and time as the <br />time of public hearing; 2) an Affidavit <br />from Jane McGinnity stating that she <br />delivered the notice of hearing to the <br />Area Plan Commission, the Board of Public <br />Works, the Board of Zoning Appeals, the <br />Building Department, and the Park <br />Department on May 8, 1992 and also <br />stating that she posted a notice of the <br />hearing on the bulletin board outside <br />this office on May 8, 1992; and 3) as of <br />10:00 a.m. there were no written <br />remonstrances received concerning this <br />resolution. <br />Ms. Auburn asked if there was any <br />objection to these items being entered <br />into the record. There was no objection <br />and they were so entered. <br />Mrs. Kolata explained that Resolution <br />No. 1058 expands the boundaries of the <br />Airport Economic Development Area and the <br />Airport Economic Development Allocation <br />Area for purposes of tax increment <br />finance to include the newly annexed <br />portions of the Toll Road Industrial <br />Park. <br />The resolution also amends the <br />acquisition list of the development plan, <br />adding eight parcels of land to the <br />list. Six parcels are located within the <br />Toll Road Industrial Park. The other two <br />parcels are located west of the U.S. 31 <br />by -pass.
