NEW BUSINESS (Cont.) <br />7. <br />C. continued... <br />Mrs Kolata noted that Dick Treptow, who <br />has worked with the Commission before <br />through Springsted, Inc., is now working <br />for Evensen Dodge, Inc. and has <br />traxisferred our TIF database to Evensen <br />Upon a motion by Ms. Huddleston, seconded <br />by 11r. Donoho and unanimously carried, <br />the Commission accepted the proposal from <br />Evensen Dodge related to refinancing of <br />TIF Revenue Bonds in the South Bend <br />Cen ral Development Area. Mr. Faccenda <br />dec ared a conflict of interest and did <br />not vote. <br />Mrs. Kolata noted that George Podell, <br />owner of Parcel 13 -14 in the Studebaker <br />Corridor has agreed to our offer for the <br />property on the condition that he be <br />allowed to keep his machinery and <br />vehicles there until we sell the <br />property. We will then give him a 30 -day <br />Notice to Vacate and he will vacate the <br />pro erty before closing. He intends to <br />purchase property in the cleared <br />Stu ebaker Corridor, but that is not <br />available to him yet. The staff <br />rec mmends accepting the counter offer. <br />Upoa a motion by Mr. Piasecki, seconded <br />by Ar. Donoho and unanimously carried, <br />the Commission accepted the counter offer <br />fron George Podell for $17,000 for Parcel <br />13-14 in the Studebaker Corridor <br />De lopment Area and agreed to allow him <br />to continue to use the property rent free <br />wit a 30 -day Notice to Vacate provision. <br />No repdrt was given. <br />-5- <br />COMMISSION ACCEPTED THE PROPOSAL <br />FROM EVENSEN DODGE RELATED TO <br />REFINANCING OF TIF REVENUE BONDS <br />IN THE SOUTH BEND CENTRAL <br />DEVELOPMENT AREA <br />COMMISSION ACCEPTED THE COUNTER <br />OFFER FROM GEORGE PODELL FOR <br />$17,000 FOR PARCEL 13 -14 IN THE <br />STUDEBAKER CORRIDOR DEVELOPMENT <br />AREA AND AGREED TO ALLOW HIM TO <br />CONTINUE TO USE THE PROPERTY RENT <br />FREE WITH A 30 -DAY NOTICE TO <br />VACATE PROVISION <br />NO REPORT WAS GIVEN <br />
