NEW BUSANESS (Cont.) <br />Eip <br />Ms. Kolata stated that the Commission is <br />considering, and stated in its lease with <br />the Redevelopment Authority, that we <br />would like to acquire 10 pieces of land <br />in the Airport Economic Development <br />Area. Nine parcels are in the area of <br />Old Cleveland Road and one is on Bendix <br />just: north of Viridian Dr. By law we <br />mist. have two appraisals of each piece of <br />prolexty. We have gone to four appraisers <br />and asked each of them to do five <br />appraisals. Mr. lauver had a conflict on <br />one of them and so we took one from Mr. <br />Lauver and gave it to Mr. Horka. We ended <br />up with McCloskey and Associates having <br />five appraisals, Jerry Michaels having <br />five, Ralph Lauver having four and Tom <br />Horka having six. This will provide us <br />wit2L information regarding the value of <br />the property in the area. Their <br />pro s range for the type of <br />projerty. Mr. McCloskey said he will do <br />the appraisals for $1,500 per improved <br />pardel and $1,000 per vacant parcel, that <br />totals $7,000. Mr. Lauver gives specific <br />n for each parcel and it comes out <br />to $5,350. Mr. Horka has a range from <br />$11,650 to $12,100. Mr. Michael's <br />prorasal adds up to $10,000. <br />Mr. Donoho stated that at one time we <br />tallied about the Airport Authority using <br />our staff for relocation and asked if <br />this was related. <br />-38- <br />
