Property owners have <br />30 ys to respond to the offers. If <br />the do not agree to the price within 30 <br />day , we have the right to begin <br />co en nation proceedings for acquisition <br />of a property. <br />Mrs. Kolata noted that if the Commission <br />approves Resolution No. 956 today, the <br />staff expects to send the purchase offers <br />by ugust 17th. <br />Upori a motion by Mr. Piasecki, seconded <br />by . Doncho and unanimously carried, <br />the Commission approved Resolution <br />No. 956 relating to acquisition of <br />prc.perty within the South Bend Central <br />opment Area by Eminent Domain. <br />Mrs. Kolata noted that a number of trees <br />in a public right of way have died. <br />Some did not receive enough water during <br />the drought two years ago and others were <br />damaged accidentally by vehicles. We <br />have sought proposals for the replacement <br />of rhe trees from three companies. The <br />staff recommends accepting the low bid <br />from Country Garden Nursery Farm.
