NEW BUSM S (Cont.) <br />b. continued... <br />C. <br />Mrs Kolata noted that our portion of the <br />project is to construct some internal <br />roals which will open up the Business <br />us area for development. <br />Ups a motion by Mr. Donoho, seconded by CMUSSION APPROVED CONTRACT FOR <br />Mr. Piasecki and unanimously carried, the ENGINEERING.SERVICES IN THE <br />Comnission approved the contract for AIRPORT ECONOMIC DEVELOPNM AREA <br />eng' eering services in the Airport WITH COLE ASSOCIATES FOR A COST <br />Eco rmi.c Development Area with Cole NOT TO EXCEED $41,790 <br />As iates for a cost not to exceed <br />$41 790. <br />Mrs Kolata noted that the Commission has <br />recAved a counter offer of $18,500 from <br />James Pegues for property located at 1150 <br />W. Washington and 1154 W. Washington <br />( s W65 -1 and W65 -2). The <br />Comnission's original offer for those <br />properties was $12,250. Mrs. Kolata <br />noted that the staff recammends that the <br />Camnission accept Mr. Pegues counter <br />Mr. Piasecki asked who would have <br />resPonsibility for any environmental <br />p lems caused by the gas station which <br />was formerly on that property. Mrs. <br />Kol to responded that the Commission <br />wou d be responsible for its cleanup, <br />but could look to all previous owners or <br />of the property to share in the <br />cos:. <br />Mr. <br />in <br />Piasecki asked if Mr. Pegues <br />? stands his share in environmental <br />Ality. Mrs. Kolata responded that he <br />)ably does not, but that we will <br />inn him.
