Mrs. Kolata <br />explained that every year, prior to March <br />1st we petition the Assessor to reassess <br />all property in the allocation areas. <br />Thi is required by state statute. In <br />ity, the Assessor only reassess <br />that has changed, based on <br />E. ding permits issued. <br />Upon a motion by Mr. Donoho, seconded by <br />Mr. Piasecki and unanimously carried, the <br />Ccudssion approved Resolution No. 920 <br />petitioning the Portage Township Assessor <br />for a reassessment of property in the <br />South Bend Central Allocation Area. <br />Mrs. Kolata explained that we are <br />proposing to declare a new economic <br />development area in the northwest section <br />of the City of South Bend.
