South Bend 10developnent Commission
Regular Meeting - February 23, 1990
6. NEW BUSg ESS (Cont.)
h. continued...
. Yes.
Mrs. Kolata: You will be treated
fairly. If you were just a business
owner and you had things in there, I
would have said that you would get your
move paid for. There are certain
conditions having to do with churches.
But there is definitely an amount of
mone y that is set aside for that in the
rule and I'm sure that we can work that
out to pay for the cost of your move. It
is Oot a situation where you will get
no a.
Mr. Harris: Oh, OK. Well, that's what I
was concerned about.
Mrs. Kolata: But there is a provision
that, a not-for-profit or a religious
institution can only get a certain
amou nt. It's not treated the same as a
business. We'll have to work that
through with the move. I don't have the
rules right in front of me, but a
religious institution or a not - for - profit
is treated differently. They can have
the amount of money that can go for
relocation, but I'm not sure if that
deals with moving expenses or some of the
other things. But there will be money to
he' you move.
Mr. arras: All right. Well, I welcome
the 6hanaes.
imtz• Thank you. Anybody else?
call.
The k2hair concludes the Public Hearing on
Res ution No. 908 for whatever action
the 'ssion desires to take.
nburn: I have one question for
,s and Neil and Dave Norris. Have
changes in the Plan continued to be
Lssed at the meetings, with input
people?
-19-
