Pat Brown is here from SiteScapes, who as been doing the redesign of the Morris Civic Plaza. We had a meeting yesterday with the South Bend Symphony representatives which I thought was an extremely good meeting. We have all agreed that we will work this out by the end f January when they have their next boar I meeting. We feel we can work out an a 3reeable solution that will be s ing the whole community and the Souti Bend Symphony can support. I guess the point that we want to get across is that there really was no disagreement at the meeting. It was just a very positive meeting and we'll be working on that. But Pat has some information and he might be ava ilable to answer some questions about the fountain itself if you would like him to do that. Mr. imtz: Mr. Brown, we'd be pleased to havo you address the Commission. Mr. own: We have not done a complete engineering study on the fountain, but, from what we understand from what was done in the past, basically, the main jet was just capped off and the base was built to hold the "Violin Woman" and all the other parts are still there. So it's just a matter of removing the base and reconstructing the main jet. We won't know until they remove the base to see exactly what was done. But according to the wings that were done before, that was what happened. Now what was actually built, we'll find out when we take the base off. Mr. imtz: Does anybody else desire to be h ?
