Continued... <br />WEST WA$INGI'ON CHAPIN REVI=ZATION PROTECT <br />RESOLUTION <br />the West Washington- Chapin <br />Revitalization Project Board of Directors <br />is committed to all areas of <br />revitalization of the West <br />Washington-Chapin neighborhood and, <br />the West Washington - Chapin <br />Re -vitalization Project Board of Directors <br />is concerned about the health and welfare <br />of the people, <br />THEREFORE,, the West Washington- Chapin <br />Revitalization Project Board of Directors <br />is resolved to: <br />1. <br />2. <br />3. <br />4. <br />5. <br />C- <br />7. <br />Insure that a Plan is developed to <br />make the West Washington - Chapin <br />neighborhood a drug -free area; <br />Develop a Comprehensive Plan to <br />ensure the safety of all residents, <br />businesses and visitors to the West <br />Washington - Chapin neighborhood; <br />Develop a Plan to provide the support <br />services and programs for <br />dysfunctional families; <br />Increase economic opportunities for <br />people who live in the neighborhood <br />by ensuring that a portion of the <br />jobs created by the development are <br />targeted for neighborhood residents; <br />Promote the establishment of clinics <br />to provide medical, drug, alcohol, <br />child and elderly care for <br />neighborhood residents; <br />Promote the rehabilitation and new <br />construction of housing for low and <br />moderate income neighborhood <br />residents; <br />Promote the development of a plan to <br />provide quality educational <br />
