This <br />study will be completed by mid summer. A <br />bit. later in our presentation, we will <br />on this new housing proposal. <br />Jeff Gibney will be doing that. <br />Our Plan also makes recamnendations for <br />de elcpment along Chapin Street. We are <br />prcposing that this area be maintained <br />primarily as a carmiercial area, in order <br />to take advantage of recent developments <br />along the 300 block of South Chapin <br />Styeet. New housing is proposed for the <br />no ern portion of the Chapin Street <br />The acquisition of buildings, <br />lard, and relocation of residents and <br />businesses, and necessary demolition for <br />this development would take place as a <br />second or third phase of the total Plan. <br />At the present time, there are not funds <br />fox, this development along Chapin Street. <br />Plan also reccamiends the creation of <br />a Emall, light industrial park just west <br />of Circle Ave., behind the old seminary, <br />am this map highlights that. The <br />concept behind this is to create an <br />industrial park similar to that in Monroe <br />This development would take place <br />in the second or third phase of the <br />overall Plan.
