Continued... <br />Fisher has proposed to do the work <br />fifteen days for a cost not to <br />$4,500. <br />Upon a motion by Mr. Piasecki, seconded <br />by Ms. Auburn and unanimously carried, <br />the Commission approved the proposal from <br />La n- Fisher Associates for design work <br />in the East Bank. <br />Ms. Auhurn assumed the Chair to conduct the <br />business of item 6.c. because she has a <br />conflict of interest on this item. <br />C. <br />ITrE . Kolata noted that Ken Herceg did the <br />dese ign work for the portion of Niles <br />Ave ue between Lasalle and Corby <br />Sti eets. He has a preliminary design for <br />the remainder of the work between Lasalle <br />Street and Jefferson Street. He will <br />couplete the design work and <br />specifications for that under the <br />pre vicus contract. This proposal is for <br />hin to address the feasibility of <br />per 'cular parking on Washington <br />Str Bet between Niles Avenue and Hill <br />Str mt, as well as curb and sidewalk, <br />li ting and landscaping design in that <br />are5L. This portion of Washington Street <br />is a brick street and we would not cover <br />the brick, but add concrete on both <br />sides. He will also design parking for <br />the property we own which is north of the <br />Emporium and south of Washington Street. <br />Thi s has never been improved and still <br />has the foundation of a building that <br />use I to be there. <br />Herceg and Associates proposes to do <br />work within sixty days for a cost <br />to exceed $14,400. <br />-4- <br />COMUSSION APPROVED THE PROPOSAL <br />FROM LAWSON- FISHER ASSOCIATES FOR <br />DESIGN WORK IN THE EAST BANK <br />
