Kolata noted that September 30 is <br />the end of the federal fiscal year and, <br />therefore, these are the last Section 312 <br />loans to be made this year. The Bureau <br />of busing has prepared a report on the <br />a 'vity of the program during the year. <br />Upon a motion by Mr. Combs, seconded by <br />Ms. Auburn and unanimously carried, the <br />Comnission approved the loans in <br />con,iection with the Section 312 Loan <br />Pro yram in accordance with the <br />recomendation from the Bureau of <br />Mrs Kolata asked Mrs. Baumgartner to <br />give the Bureau of Housing's report on <br />the Section 312 Loan activity for 1988. <br />Mrs Baumgartner reported that 23 Section <br />312 Rehabilitation Loans were processed <br />in 1988 for a total of $469,700. An <br />add tional $77,920 of grant funds were <br />app ied to 11 of the 23 loans for a total <br />r ilitation cost of $547,620. <br />As it result of the Section 312 Loan and <br />the grant activity, 13 homes in the West <br />WasItington Redevelopment Area were <br />assisted in rehabilitation and a total of <br />$283,375 was invested in the <br />Mrs Kolata noted that this was the first <br />y that the program was operated on a <br />f' t come, first served basis.
