There would be new curbs, <br />sidewalks, resurfacing of the street and <br />possibly some landscaping and lighting. <br />Ms. Puburn indicated that she had <br />received comments in opposition to the <br />proposed one -way portion of Niles Avenue. <br />Mrs. Kolata noted that at the public <br />meeting there were basically three points <br />of o position. They were the one -way <br />portion of Niles, the need to go north to <br />Corby with improvements, and a concern <br />over what would happen to the businesses <br />duri g construction. The third issue <br />will be discussed between the businesses <br />and he actual contractor once the bid is <br />awarded. <br />Ms. Auburn declared a conflict of <br />interest and disqualified herself on this <br />matt r. <br />Upon a motion by Mr. Combs, seconded by <br />Mr. ronoho and carried, the Commission <br />approved the requested Amendment to <br />Cont act with Ken Herceg & Associates, <br />Inc. <br />d. Commission <br />wi <br />in <br />Area. <br />d for a Lease <br />for Parcels <br />Mrs. Kolata noted that Parcel C8 -7 and <br />C8 -9 is the parking lot at the corner of <br />Main St. and Western Ave. Parcel C9 -2, <br />addr ssed in item 6.e. is the Baer's lot. <br />She xplained that both leases are <br />temporary leases running from 7/1/88 - <br />7/1/ 9. The lease payment with Center <br />City Associates is for $1.00 per year for <br />surface parking. CCA will be responsible <br />for maintenance and operation costs and <br />COAMIISSION APPROVED THE AMENDMENT <br />TO CONTRACT WITH KEN HERCEG AND <br />ASSOCIATES, INC. <br />
