Continued... <br />To the Commissioners: <br />Center City Associates is requesting your <br />assistance with the utmost urgency to <br />give support to us and Lykowski <br />Construction to move the Probst House <br />fraT 344 N. Hill Street to the 100 block <br />of North Hill. The historic structure is <br />scheduled for demolition November 2 and <br />the St. Joseph Medical Center has delayed <br />as long as it could delay its planned <br />tsar 'nca lot on the 344 site. <br />Center City Associates had approved a <br />$30,000 business loan guarantee to an <br />earlier project to move the house to a <br />Niles Avenue site for a restaurant. As <br />of last week, that project was declared <br />dead and the CCA Board of Directors has <br />given the staff and executive committee <br />the Dkay to proceed with any attempt to <br />save the structure for the purpose of <br />encoaraging development in the East Race <br />area. <br />CCA �ould like the following from <br />Rede elopment: <br />1. Pupport for the project <br />2. roperty to store the building on <br />or up to one year. (CCA will <br />rovide $1,000,000 liability <br />nsurance . ) <br />3. pproval of CCA using its own loan <br />and as needed in the project.
