We have not been turned <br />for a loan, but merely required to <br />sh more information and additions to <br />usiness plan. Our delay at the <br />t is related to vacations of the <br />e involved. <br />We have contracted with Edward VanRyn to <br />proceed with the architectural plans for <br />your approval. Mr. VanRyn is in <br />agreement with us on our ideas and has <br />expressed a real interest and concern for <br />maintaining the integrity of the <br />built ing. <br />Once again, we are most anxious to <br />proceed with this project. Commission authorization requested to <br />con act for design services in the South <br />Bend Central Development Area. <br />Mr. Hunt noted that there were three <br />respDnses to the request for proposals <br />for Burvey and design work for the Niles <br />Aven e improvements. One of the <br />pro .sals was not signed and, therefore, <br />coula not be considered. Ms. Matthews <br />explFtined that Michael Meeks from the <br />Depa tment of Engineering had reviewed <br />the --wo acceptable proposals and <br />inte iewed representatives from the <br />fi to accurately evaluate the <br />pro sals.
