CcOinunication from Mikki Dobski <br />re (4arding Special Olympics Fire Works <br />Mr Hunt read into the record the <br />fo lowing memo from Mikki Dobski: <br />: June 12, 1987 <br />TO# Board of Public Works <br />Mikki Dobski <br />RE� Special Olympics Fire Works <br />On behalf of the ISSOC, I would like to <br />r est permission to stage a fire works <br />display for the entire community on <br />Saturday, August l at 8:45 p.m. along <br />thE river, near Seitz Park. I have <br />Z ieved this location suggestion from <br />South Bend Fire Department. <br />her, I have advised ISSOC of the <br />for an insurance certificate at the <br />1 of $1 million, naming the City as <br />additional insured. <br />Along with this, I would like to request <br />assistance from the South Bend Police <br />Department regarding traffic controls <br />and help in determining appropriate <br />viewing areas for the public. Please <br />nota that Century Center will be <br />utilized at its maximum capacity that <br />eve ing for other Special Olympic <br />events.
