Commission ratification requested for a <br />con ract.with Colip Electric Corporation <br />for electrical work in connection with <br />the State Theatre building. <br />Mrs. Kolata explained that two proposals <br />were sought to upgrade the electrical <br />service to the State Theatre storefronts. <br />Sin e Diggies opened there have been <br />continual power outages. Colip <br />Ele tric's proposal was accepted and <br />approval was sought from the <br />Commissioners by telephone to expedite <br />the necessary repairs due to the <br />seriousness of the condition. It was <br />det rmined that an emergency existed and <br />the work should be done as quickly as <br />pos ible. <br />Upon a motion by Mr. Donoho, seconded by COMMISSION RATIFIED A CONTRACT WITH <br />Mr. Piasecki and unanimously carried, the COLIP ELECTRIC CORPORATION FOR <br />Commission ratified a contract with Colip ELECTRICAL WORK IN CONNECTION WITH <br />Electric Corporation for electrical work THE STATE THEATRE BUILDING <br />in the State Theatre building. <br />f. Com ission approval requested for a <br />con ract with Hurtt - Kenrick and <br />Associates, Architects to provide <br />schematic facade studies and estimates <br />for the building at 228 S. Michigan <br />Street. <br />Mrs Kolata explained that Hurtt - Kenrick <br />wou d provide a more detailed design than <br />was previously done and also provide a <br />cos estimate for the proposed facade <br />-5- <br />
